I'm a bit late to the game when it comes to dragon age, I only just got into it.... at the end of 2019 I think? So theres some stuff that's been out for a while that I'm still catching up on, like the graphic novels.I really, REALLY enjoyed these. It's so fun to see little nods to the games, and to be able to catch on to what's going on right before it happens because I know and love these people, and see a bunch of the people mentioned in the war table missions in inquisition (hey Maevaris, I adore you!!)I read it on the kindle app, and it flows really well in terms of page structure and layout - that's something I struggle with sometimes, with graphic novels. I'll have to reread a whole page 4 times trying to figure out what order the speech bubbles go in. I didnt have that issue here!If theres one teeeeeeensy tiny thing I disliked about the graphic novels, it's that alistair is drawn with silvery blue eyes when in origins they're a honey brown. Not the biggest deal. Everything else was *kisses fingers*And to anyone reading this review that is as generally new to the graphic novels as I am, there's more after this one! It doesn't end here! Look for the blue wraith ones, they're about fenris and I read them first, and I wish I'd have read these ones first because some new characters carry over from these graphic novels and I didnt know them at the time so I was lost for a bit. But now I know who they are! So I think I'll go reread 'em. This book deserves five stars, but they shipped it in a bag with no padding. It came beat up, bent, and torn. Highly dissapointed in the prime delivery.
